Elections at the Islamabad District Bar Association for 2013-14 will be held today (Saturday).
The High Court Bar Association general secretary said there were two candidates for the slot of president, including Dr Syed Muhammad Anwar and Zahid Mehmood Raja.
Qamar Inayat Raja and Muhammad Tariq would contest elections for the post of general secretary, he said. Shaista Tabassum and Jam Khursheed Ahmad will contest for the post of vice president and other office bearers of the Islamabad Bar Association would also be elected, he added.
Around 1,951 lawyers would use their right of vote to choose their representatives.
