Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has taken serious notice of a fire that erupted in the R- Block of the Secretariat on Friday.
The minister directed the deputy commissioner to hold an enquiry into the incident and submit a report within two days.
According to eye-witnesses, the fire erupted due to short circuiting in the building. A fire-brigade rushed to the site and extinguished the fire.
