Authorities seal Islamabad’s Red Zone ahead of TMQ’s long march

The Red Zone of the federal capital has been sealed by placing containers at all entry and exit points as part of security arrangements for Tehrik-e-Minhajul Quran’s (TMQ) long march, scheduled on January 14.
Moreover, the entry points into the Red Zone from Embassy Road have also been blocked with containers. Similarly, gates leading to the Presidency, Parliament House and Pak Secretariat were also sealed.capital police confiscated containers from private transport companies to block key points. Sources said that over 25 containers were confiscated by police from GT Road and taken to different areas in Islamabad.

  1. Gov of pakistan neeed to talk to Mr qadri to settledown some of issues and makes a positve progress.
    TO leave the thing so loose will case a bad time for future nation.

  2. this govt has no writ anywhere and they must be sent packing into the jail for further trials..whatever happens should be in a peaceful way and security forces should cooperate to maintain order and give way to the peaceful mob..this is the time to change worse for the best…none of the political leaders supported Dr Qadri and hats off to TUQ who single handily handled and gathered momentum … Pakistan needs a positive change to get respite for people suffering for 60 years…we are with TUQ
