Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said Altaf Hussain equating Quaid-e-Azam’s status with his situation was a distortion of history. “The oath taken by Quaid e Azam was determined by the fact that the independence of Pakistan in 1947 was not complete. Both India and Pakistan had attained quasi independence and became dominions of the British Empire. It was for this reason that the Quaid became governor general and not the president,” he said.
Altaf twisted facts: PML-N

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Senator Pervez Rasheed on Thursday said MQM leader Altaf Hussain distorted facts in his speech. “His words for Quaid-e-Azam hurt the emotions of thousands of Pakistanis,” he said. Correcting Altaf, Rasheed said the Quaid-e-Azam had gone to the UK to get higher education and at that time Pakistan had not come into being. Therefore, he added, it is highly ridiculous to say that the Quaid was a British national.

  1. Altaf has earned biggest blot in his life though he wanted to earn laurels instead. It is pity that he spoke about Quaide e Azam for no reason and rhyme. Uneducated like him tried to splash stains on leader Quaid who are not born even n each century whereas people like Altaf are born each second and not even minute. Secondly he should realize that had Quaid not gifted us Pakistan then Altaf had never ever attained any recognition which he got in Pakistan. I am Urdu speaking like Altaf but cannot swallow something which is devoid of simple common sense.
