Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday announced to move the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) seeking action against the federal and Punjab governments for violating the rules set by ECP. Talking to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) former Punjab assembly member Sikander Ali Daultana, Imran Khan said that the PTI would submit evidence against both the PPP and PML-N to ECP. He further said that PTI would seek disciplinary action against the PPP and PML-N as leaderships of both ruling parties were misusing the taxpayers’ money to run their election campaigns. At the meeting, Imran Khan directed Ishaq Khakwani to collect all relevant data about the use of the taxpayers’ money in launching advertisement campaigns by the PPP and PML-N governments so that a formal compliant could be lodged with the ECP.
