Punjab government on Wednesday declined additional personnel to be deployed for the long march security planned by Tehrik-e-Minhajul Quran chief Dr Tahirul Qadri, according to a private TV channel.
Dr Qadri had earlier given government a three-weeks ultimatum to improve the worsening situation of the country warning that if government failed he would lead a protest march towards Islamabad on Jan 14.
Dr Qadri has the support Mutahida Quami Movement (MQM) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in this regard.

  1. Tahir Qadri must provide funds to Punjab Govee ernment for security of his long march. He is doing the long march with his political workers. As general rule for any plitical or relidious procession or long march the gourp should pay the expenses of security.
