Three cops were injured when unknown miscreants attacked with hand grenades on Tuesday.
According to details, unidentified motorcyclists hurled hand grenade at police who were on routine patrol at Swabi Link Road injuring three and fled the scene.
The injured policemen were shifted to hospital for treatment.
Heavy contingents of police soon reached the scene and after cordoning off the area launched search operation but the attackers managed to escape.
