Punjab’s new Election Commissioner Tariq Qadri would assume charge on Friday. Khaliq-ur-Rehman, acting Provincial Election Commissioner has been taking care of the responsibilities. Tariq Qadri was transferred from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). His was replaced in KP was fby Sonu Khan Baloch.
