Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Tahirul Qadri held a telephonic conversation with MQM chief Altaf Hussain in which the latter reiterated his support of the former, expressing confidence in his vision. Discussing the political situation of the country, Qadri said various political leaders were alleging him for coming to Pakistan with a mission to get elections postponed and to derail the democratic system. Altaf said Qadri did not want to delay elections but wanted to abolish the feudal system, culture of corruption, writing-off of billions of rupees of loans and to reform the electoral system. Altaf further said those leveling accusations against Qadri wanted to maintain the status quo in the country.
