To prevent Dr Qadri’s long march to the capital, the city administration has imposed Section-144 banning any rallies or public gatherings in the district.
According to sources, the administration has not granted Awami Tehrik Chief Dr Tahir ul Qadri permission to hold a public rally in the federal capital on Jan 14 and has asked him to restrict his rally to the F-9 Park. The administration stated that large public gatherings could not be allowed in the high security zone at D-Chowk.
Sources said that Dr Qadri has refused to hold his rally in F-9 Park and said that he would hold his rally outside the Parliament House.
