Two persons including a robber and a cop were killed in a shooting on Friday.
According to sources, police intercepted robbers on a tip-off at Gujranwala Road initiating a fire exchange that killed a policeman and a robber while the rest of the gang managed to escape.
Arms, valuables and various other items were recovered from their possession.
The bodies were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police said that the robber killed in fire exchange was wanted in various cases and search for his fleeing accomplices was underway.
