Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) Karachi will organise a free eye screening camps in Liyari, Saddar, Dariabad, Akhtar Colony, Baloch Colony and cattle colony on Sunday. PIMA Spokesman said this in a statement issued here on Wednesday. Specialist doctors and ophthalmologists will examine patients and select them for free cataract surgeries on 13 January at Adamjee Hospital. PIMA is playing a pivotal role in holding free eye camps to render diagnostic and surgical services in far flung areas free of cost. Earlier, PIMA Relief Karachi and Prevention of Blindness (POB) Trust organised free eye surgery camp on 22 December and more than 135 free cataract surgeries were conducted.
