Enquiry against 10 missing exam sheets

The Rawalpindi Education Board has started an inquiry against five employees including superintendent with respect to ten missing empty answer sheets during the Intermediate supplementary examination of 2012. To this effect, Government Asghar Mall College Associate Professor Saleem Zaib and Professor Malik Riaz of Garden College were made responsible for holding the enquiry, and had questioned five board officials including the superintendent in regard to the incident. The Rawalpindi Education Board Chairman Dr Muhammad Ashraf said that under the Punjab Employees Efficiency, Disciplinary and Accountability (PEEDA) Act, a committee had been established for probing into the matter of the ten missing empty answer sheets during supplementary intermediate exams. After the finalisation of this committee’s report, a formal inquiry committee would be established to further look into the case.
