Educational institutes under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) will reopen from January 2 (Wednesday) after a week-long winter vacation. FDE Model Colleges Director Tariq Masood said the vacation, which started from December 24, will end on January 1 and institutes will reopen the next day. He said the winter vacation was announced due to the prevailing intense cold weather. The vacation also provided a break to students after their December tests and they will be able to recommence learning with renewed commitment and spirit, he said.
