A 47-year-old man was booked for allegedly raping his daughter-in-law in Sector F-7-4 Islamabad, police sources said.
According to details, the aged man brought his daughter-in-law from his native town of Chakwal to Islamabad to arrange meeting with her parents, but instead kept her in a private room, where he allegedly raped her.
Police said that the accused Abid Hussain, who worked at the residence of a diplomat in sector F-7-4 as a security guard, a few days back had gone to his native town, where he asked his daughter-in-law if she wanted to visit her parents residing at Khanan Pul Islamabad.
On this, the 24-year-old woman showed her willingness to travel with her father-in-law. Abid brought the woman to his residence (servant quarter) in sector F-7, where he raped her for three days.
On Thursday the victim somehow managed to reach the Kohsar Police Station to report the incident. Upon her written application, police after conducting the victim’s initial test from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) registered an FIR against the accused. Meanwhile, the accused was still at large.
“We are after the accused and raids are being carried out to arrest him,” said the investigating officer of the case.
