Chief Traffic Officer Suhail Chaudhry on Thursday inspected various diversion points for traffic and directed officers to increase deployment of wardens to avoid traffic jams in rush hours.
He also issued directions to the City Traffic Helpline1915 and FM radios to provide guidance to the public about alternate routes.
The CTO urged people to seek information from traffic helpline 1915 and traffic radio before leaving their homes.
