Prime Minister (PM) Raja Pervez Ashraf on Thursday said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was ready to take charge of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
Speaking to reporters on the fifth death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto, the PM said Bilawal will be carrying the flame lit by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, which had been preserved by Benazir Bhutto.
Ashraf said Bilawal will lead the caravan of democracy and reinvigorate the PPP workers. He said those who had gathered at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh trusted PPP and had faith in Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s and Benazir Bhutto’s mission.
“Today the the image of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and training of President Asif Ali Zardari will appear before the masses in the person of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari,” said the PM. Ashraf expressed his confidence in Bilawal’s leadership saying that he was capable to lead the party and the nation.
