Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said his party’s tsunami will wipe out crime and corruption from the country, adding that change will begin from Mianwali. “I will be the first prime minister hailing from Mianwali,” said Khan. Addressing a public rally on Wednesday, Khan said corruption was rampant in the country. PPP and PML-N, he said, had transferred huge amounts of money abroad. Khan said if he came to power, development funds would be delivered to representatives at the grass root level instead of MNAs. He said Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari were “US agents”. The PTI, he said, would build up a new Pakistan after escaping from the clutches of Unites States (US). The PTI chief said his party would end the politics of ‘thana katchehri’ after coming into power. While lashing out on political personalities, Khan said the days of President Zardari, Nawaz and Maulana Fazlur Rehman were numbered and even if PML and PPP got united, his tsunami would overthrow them. He said the ISI had promoted Nawaz Sharif in the past with heavy economic aid which had been exposed in the court. He said if he had an opportunity to come to power, his government would collect taxes from all and sundry without any discrimination. Imran urged the government to come out of the so called war on terror, repeating his long standing demand.
