Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah,has ordered an inquiry into the reports regarding cases of measles in various districts and death of children.
A statement here on Wednesday said that he has appointed the Commissioners of Sukkur and Mirpurkhas divisions as inquiry officers to look into the matters and fix responsibility of those who committed dereliction and did not take effective steps for checking the spread of disease.
It said that action would be initiated against those found responsible for any dereliction. The chief minister directed the two Commissioners to submit their report within three days’ time.

He also visited the site of reception camps set up by PPP Women Wing and other PPP sister organizations.

The chief minister also directed to officials of District administration and Municipal Administration Ratodero to ensure proper cleanliness of roads leading to Garhi Khuda Bux and Naudero and other facilitates for the public reaching Garhi Khuda Bux to pay homage and tribute to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto on her death anniversary.
The chief minister said that strict security measures will be taken to maintain law and order situation in Larkana district.
He said that all possible facilities will be provided to the people he name of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto is in the hearts of the people of the country. He said that drinking water faculties,lighting arrangements, parking areas were finalized, besides the lunger will be distributed among the people who will participated in the public meeting.
