About 20,000 government employees are waiting for decisions on their cases pending in the Federal Services Tribunal (FST). These cases were related to the affairs of service, including suspension, termination and departmental actions against the employees. According to a report submitted in the National Assembly, cases of more than 46,000 government employees were referred to the FST during the rule of the current government. Among these, 25,161 cases have been resolved, while 20,935 cases were still pending. The report stated that 3,850 cases were resolved in 2008, while 8,400 cases of the year were still pending. Similarly, the tribunal gave decisions on 3,372 cases in 2009, while 3,092 cases of the year remained pending. The FTS resolved 9,400 cases in 2010, while more than 4,000 cases of the year were pending. In 2011, cases of 5,600 government employees were resolved, while 1,912 cases of the year had been pending. In the current year, the tribunal resolved 2,931 cases till November, while 3,527 cases remained pending.
