Muhammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik steered Pakistan to a five-wicket victory over their arch rivals, India, in the first Twenty20 International at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on Tuesday. Chasing 134, Pakistan made a disastrous start losing three wickets for only 12 runs. However, skipper Hafeez and Malik added 106 runs with their fourth wicket partnership. Pace bowler Umar Gul took three wickets and gave 21 while Saeed Ajmal bagged two for 25. Afridi and debutant fast bowler Muhammad Irfan took one wicket each.
