Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan, Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari laid floral wreaths at mausoleum of Muhammad Ali Jinnah and offered “fateha” for the founding father of Pakistan on his 136th birth anniversary. Speaking on the occasion‚ Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan said that Pakistan could be evolved into a strong and stable state if the 1973 Constitution was strictly followed and implemented. He said the challenges which the country was currently facing could be nullified if Jinnah’s “Ittehad, Tanzeem” and “Yaqeen-e-Muhkam” (unity, faith, discipline) were incorporated by the citizens of Pakistan. Ebad who on Tuesday was decorated with Nishan-e-Imtiaz; the highest civil award of the country by president Zardari , for his services to the country, said that the country could only be developed as per golden principles of Mr Jinnah if the founding father’s vision is followed in letter and spirit. He said that the Quaid’s teachings would always be there to guide the leadership of Pakistan towards a prosperous and stable nation. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah called upon the countrymen to unite against all sorts of anti-state forces as unity would eventually get them sustainable peace and stability in the ‘beloved Pakistan’. Shah said that all national institutions must not transgress their constitutional jurisdiction. He concluded that during his five-year reign as the CM of Sindh, his government had rendered unprecedented services to the people who would elect him again into the corridors of power in 2013 general elections.
