Sebastian Vettel believes he has more improvement in him as he seeks a fourth consecutive world championship in 2013.
The Red Bull driver became the youngest ever triple world champion at 25 this year, joining Juan Manuel Fangio and Michael Schumacher as the only others to achieve the feat.
But with 26 grand prix victories already to his name, the German is widely to tipped to add plenty more to his tally in seasons to come.
“In terms of results, the last three years and winning the constructors’ championship have been perfect but I still feel that there are little bits here and there we can improve on,” Vettel said.
“That’s the philosophy and the spirit that we share in the whole team. You can always do better.”
After sealing his third world title at the Brazilian Grand Prix in November, Vettel said his rapid success had surprised both himself and the team but is refusing to rest on his laurels.
“At the moment, I don’t really reflect too much on what has happened over the last three years,” he said.
“I am extremely happy and extremely proud of what we have achieved.
“If you put it into perspective, it sounds even crazier when you look at the people who have achieved the same or similar in the past.
