Former Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khosa on Sunday said that he was proud to be a junior worker of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP), showing full confidence in the president’s decisions and aiming to stay at the front line of the party under leader ship of President Asif Ali Zardari. He expressed these views during a farewell party, arranged by the PPP in his honour in the Governor House. People come and go but parties, which were based on strong ideology and party leaders would remain eternal, Khosa said. The former governor thanked the PPP for honouring him with the governor ship of the powerful province, and said that he fulfilled his responsibilities of governor ship with honesty and dedication. Khosa disclosed that doors of the governor house had remained open for the workers of the PPP during his tenure, added that he would available for the party at any time and place. He expressed a lot of prayers and wishes for Bilawal Zardari who was going to lead the party on December 27. PPP Punjab President Manzoor Watto, Punjab General Secretary Tanvir Ashraf Kaira, Punjab Assembly Opposition Leader Raja Riaz, MPA’s, MNA’s and different district level office bearers from the Punjab PPP were present there. On the occasion, Manzoor praised the services of Khosa for the party.
