Children Cancer Foundation Pakistan Trust (CCFPT) decreed December 28 as the last date for submission of applications by paediatricians for its 6th Paediatric Oncology Intensive Course scheduled for January five. The seminar would be conducted at Children Cancer Hospital from January 7-11. The course is a part of CCFPT’s training project “My Child Matters”. The training program is being organized in collaboration with International Union against Cancer. The objectives of the course are to impart skills in paediatricians for early detection, diagnosis and treatment of paediatric cancer in patients. This would be a Case Based Learning (CBL) and interactive course, mainly comprising of case scenarios and group discussions. CCFPT also aims to commission level-1 Paediatric Oncology services at Children Cancer hospital and at their respective centres. Travel and daily allowance would be granted to the participants of the courses.
