All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that the people of Kashmir will keep struggling for their right of self-determination till they achieve their goal.
He was addressing a joint press conference along with Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Liaquat Baloch‚ at Mansura in Lahore on Saturday.
He said that the time will come soon when the Kashmir issue will be resolved in accordance with the aspiration of the Kashmiris.
Mirwaiz said that all the political parties as well as the people of Pakistan have identical views on the long standing issue of Kashmir which is a good omen.
He said that talks have been held with the senior leadership of Jammat-e-Islami to evolve a joint strategy for the solution of Kashmir.
The APHC chairman said that no stake holder of the issue is opposed to good relations between Pakistan and India‚ however‚ we want that the Kashmir issue should be raised at all fora including trade talks.
Talking on the occasion‚ Liaquat Baloch said that Jamaat-e-Islami would continue its full support to the Kashmiris for their realization of their right of self-determination.
He underlined the need for solid and result-oriented measures instead of merely cosmetic measures to resolve the issues.
