Paramedical staff on Friday continued their sit-in protest outside the Chief Minister House on third consecutive day for fulfillment of their demands. Chairman of the paramedical staff said discussions between paramedics and government representatives had failed and the paramedics would remain on strike until successful negotiations were made. Outdoor patient departments remained closed due to the protest. It was observed that there were no alternative arrangements made by the government to facilitate patients at OPDs.
