The hearing of new application filed by Ilyas Siddiqui advocate counsel for Sehba Musharraf could not take place Saturday due to absence of defence counsel and next hearing has been fixed on January, 5.
The application was presented before Judge Chaudhry Habib ur Rehman of Anti Terrorism Court Rawalpindi in Benazir assassination case.
It was said in the application that details of the joint bank account of Pervez Musharraf and Sehba Musharraf be sought from FIA.
The court had earlier declared Pervez Musharraf a proclaimed offender and issued orders for his arrest on the application moved by FIA due to his non arrest. Begum Sehba Musharraf had filed application in the court against this order. The court while admitting new application had issued notice to FIA and sought reply from it. However the counsel for Sehba Musharraf could not appear in the court.
It may be recalled that the court had summoned US journalist, police, rescue officials and head of Allied hospital to record the evidence.
The case will now be heard on January, 05.
