Federal Law Ministry has sought details of the Supreme Court judges who possess dual nationality when the members of Senate raised questions in this regard.
These details will be presented in Senate once Registrar Supreme Court reveals them.
Senator Farhatullah Babar from Pakistan People’s Party had submitted questions in the Senate Secretariat, interrogating about the dual nationality of certain Supreme Court judges.
Before this, in answer to a question from PPP’s Senator Sughra Imam, the Law Ministry made it clear that there is no restriction on the appointment of dual nationality holders in Superior Courts.
