CNG closure in Sindh troubles citizens

The commuters and motorists had to face severe hardships due to closure of CNG stations across Sindh on Saturday.
It should be mentioned that under gas load management plan, Sui Southern Gas Company Pipelines Limited (SSGPL) suspended the gas supply for CNG stations of Sindh for 24 hours starting from 8:00am Saturday.
Due to closure of CNG stations public transport on various routes remained absent adding to the miseries of the commuters. The motorists also had to face hardships due to non availability of gas and high prices of patrol.
Large number of people including women, children, laborers and students were seen at different bus stops of various districts of Sindh, waiting for van of concerned routes to take them to desired destination.
Talking to INP news agency, citizens of Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Nawabshah, Tando Adam and other districts criticized the government for failure to mend the situation regarding gas crisis.
They were of the view that due to poor performance of provincial and federal governments CNG crisis has increased further adding to the miseries of the masses who were already in grip of multifaceted crises including uncertain law and order situation, price hike and prolonged electricity loadshedding which has adversely hurt the domestic consumers besides halting the industrial production and commercial activities.
