Panic griped the central place of Karachi, Saddar on Saturday as shops were closed after the killing of a political worker here.
Sources said that the killing of an activist of Awami National Party (ANP) hit businesses closed and spread fear among the people of Saddar, Regal and Empress Market areas.
Rangers and other security personnel have arrived on the scene to take control of the situation.
