A large quantity of heroin was seized by Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) at Islamabad International Airport on Thursday, a private TV channel reported.
The busted heroin, booked for Britain, was concealed in items like machinery parts and cutlery, the television said quoting an ANF press release.
The amount of heroin in the smuggling bid is estimated at 5.8kgs which is worth millions in the international market.
Cases have been registered against the smugglers and investigation was in progress for further arrests.
