Etihad Airways bags four consecutive Oscars

Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) grabbed the World’s Leading Airline award for the fourth consecutive year. The awards were announced at a black-tie gala event hosted by Oberoi Gurgaon in New Delhi. Etihad Airways Diamond First Class was also praised as the world premier flight cabins. The World Travel Awards were statuated in 1993 to seek out and reward the very best travel organisations of the world. In 2012, approximately 650,000 votes were cast by travel professionals from 191 countries. The World Travel Awards have secured a top industry status and been named by the Wall Street Journal as the “Oscars of the Travel Industry”.
