The last rites of Constable Aurangzeb Khan were held at the Police Headquarters Garden on Wednesday.
The funeral prayers of Aurangzeb were offered by Sindh, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Fayyaz Ahmed Leghari, Additional IG Karachi, Iqbal Mahmood, AIG Traffic, Syed Zakir Hussain, and other police personnel.
The IGP on the occasion said that police action against the terrorists and criminals responsible for the loss of innocent lives would continue unabated. The IGP also announced a grant of Rs 2 million for the heirs of the deceased constable. Pension for Aurangzeb’s widow was also decreed. A family member of the deceased would also be employed in the Police Department.
