Two persons received burn injuries due to a fire caused by an electric heater in Rawalpindi here on Wednesday.
According to police sources, two persons got hurt in Arya Mohalla of Rawalpindi when a mattress lying close to a heater caught fire and burnt the entire room. The injured were shifted to the Holy Family Hospital for treatment.
The wounded men namely Qari Niyaz and Qari Sajjad were clerics of a mosque in Rawalpindi.
Following the incident, rescue teams reached the spot and later managed to bring the fire under control.
