Punjab Emergency Services (PES), government of the Punjab has black listed Habib Rafique Pvt. Limited 6-K, H Block Gulberg Lahore for a period of three years on non-completion of construction of Punjab Emergency Academy Thokar Niaz Baig Lahore.
According to the Punjab Emergency Services Department, Habib Rafique Pvt. Limited contractor company had been given a project of construction of Punjab Emergency Academy Thokar Niaz Baig Lahore through tender dated April 29, 2010 vide letter No. 545/ESA/10.
According to the agreement, a period of ten months was fixed for the construction of the project but the contractor company did not complete it despite passage of two and a half years. On the request of contractor company, Project Steering Observation Committee extended the date of completion a number of times but the contractor company failed to show satisfactory performance. The company owners also did not give a satisfactory reply of the show cause notice issued to the company.
Keeping in view the performance and in-competency of the contractor, Punjab government has blacklisted Habib Rafique Pvt Ltd for a period of three years and during this period, neither the contractor company will be able to do any deal with Punjab government nor will get register the company with any other name.
