The Punjab Bar Council (PBC) on Tuesday cancelled licences of 37 lawyers for holding fake degrees and being involved in incidents of misconduct.
According to a notification, the PBC disciplinary committee heard complaints against 40 lawyers for receiving licences through fake degrees and showing misconduct.
The committee found 37 lawyers guilty, and their licences were cancelled, whereas the licences of three others were suspended.
