Pakistan clinch Asia Deaf Cup

Pakistan on Monday won the 2nd Asia Deaf Cricket Cup 2102 beating Sri Lanka by 92 runs in the final here at the LCCA ground. Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first. Naeem Arshad played a wonderful inning of 93 runs and Usman Gohar scored 51 in Pakistan’s total of 234 for 8 wickets. Sir Lankan bowler Asanka took four wickets and Sanjeewa had two wickets.
Pakistan bowler did wonderful job and bowled out all the Sri Lankan team in 37 overs. Sri Lankan team scored only 142. Asanka was the only successful batsman from Sri Lanka who scored 59 runs. So Pakistan won this match by 92 runs. Muhammad Shakeel took 3 wickets, Adnan Ghani took 2 wickets and Zaka Ahmad took 2 wickets.
It was most successful international event that opened many doors of international cricket in Pakistan. All the five countries teams were happy to participate in 2nd Asia Deaf Cricket Cup.
Shafique Ahmed, General Manager Domestic Cricket PCB and Pervaiz Malik MNA (PML-N) was the chief guest of then prizes distribution ceremony while Khajwa Imran Nazir was also present as guest of honor.
