Only 13% of Pakistanis support war for Kashmir

According to a Gilani Research Foundation survey conducted by Gallup Pakistan, only 13 percent of Pakistanis support war as a solution to the Kashmir dispute. A nationally-representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “How do you think the Kashmir issue should be resolved?” Responding to this, 39 percent said through the United Nations, 34 percent said through dialogue with India, 13 percent said through war, seven percent said “Kashmiris should be involved in the decision”, six percent said silently and one percent said the Kashmir issue had already been resolved.
