At least 19 foreigners were arrested from Karachi and Chaghi in crackdown by the law-enforcers following the mayhem that rocked Peshawar on Saturday and Sunday.
According to details, the Frontier Corps (FC) conducted a raid at a bus stop in Chaghi and arrested 17 Uzbek nationals who were intending to go to Iran with travel documents.
According to sources, no weapons were recovered from the foreigners, who seemed to have come from Afghanistan.
According to police sources, police arrested two foreigners from Super Highway toll plaza during a checking. Police said the two foreigners seemed to be Uzbek nationals. A case has been registered against the two men and further investigations are underway.
