Pakistan fully stands behind the Kashmir struggle: PM

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that Pakistan seeks to resolve the Kashmir issue on the basis of United Nation’s resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
He was talking to a seven member delegation of All Parties Hurriyat Conference led by its Chairman‚ Mir Waiz Umer Farooq that called on him in Islamabad on Monday.
Welcoming the delegation‚ the Prime Minister said that there is consensus in Pakistan among all political parties on Kashmir issue.
He said Pakistan takes pride in the indigenous struggle waged by the people of Kashmir for their right of self determination.
“We praise the political acumen and wisdom of the Hurriyat leadership in its efforts to highlight the case of the people of Kashmir” he said.
The Prime Minister praised the vision, wisdom and the patience that the Kashmiri leaders have demonstrated in highlighting the cause of the Kashmiri people and assured them that “Pakistan fully stands behind them”.
Mir Waiz Umer Farooq thanked the Prime Minister for welcoming the delegation at the Prime Minister house and said that the people of Kashmir value the unconditional support of the government and the people of Pakistan.
Other members of the delegation were Maulana Abbas Ansari, Itteha-ul-Muslimeen, Professor Abdul Ghani Bhat, and Muslim Conference, Mr. Bilal Ghani Lone, J and K Anjuman-e-Shari –Shian and Mr.Mussadiq Adil. J&K peoples Political front.
Hina Rabbani Khar, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Qamar Zaman Kaira Minister for information and Broadcasting and other senior government officials were present during the meeting.

  1. ONe of the 3 resolution orders pak to vacate the occupied kashmir known as so called ‘azad kashmir’..what will u do mr pm?
