New visa regime implemented: Indian HC

Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Sharad Sabharwal said that Pakistani businessmen have started getting one-year travel visa to visit ten Indian Cities from Monday.
Addressing members of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sabharwal said that the move will usher in a new chapter of friendship between the two countries. He also disclosed that a delegation of Indian businessmen will also visit Pakistan.
Indian envoy said that implementation on new visa regime between the two countries has started that will help improve relations between the two countries.
He said that India has vast gas reserves, adding New Delhi is willing to supply Islamabad gas for the next five years under an agreement.
“We are willing to cooperate in resolving energy crisis in Pakistan,” he added.
Sabharwal also said that Pakistani cricket team will be provided fool-proof security during its forthcoming tour to India.
