The National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) has planned the “Malala Schools” programme for children in disaster hit areas across the country.
NCHD Chairwoman Dr Nafisa Shah said Malala Yousafzai was a renaissance girl who had explored a new era in history due to her unwavering efforts and sacrifice for the promotion of education for females in the most hostile region of the country.
“I will carry on my mission regardless of the price I might have to pay,” remarked Malala in a meeting with the chairperson at the Birmingham hospital.
Dr Shah expressed hope that Malala would get well soon and start her life with new zeal and zest.
Malal Yousafzai was targeted by the Taliban in October this year for campaigning for girl’s education. She was shot in the head but survived and is curently under treatment at a hospital in England.
