Jiyalas to throng PPP’s public gathering, says Qaim Ali Shah

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that 5th death anniversary of Shaheed Chairperson of PPP Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto will be observed in respectable manner on December 27.
The party leaders, workers and supporters from all parts of the country and even from the abroad will visit Garhi Khuda Bux (Larkana) to pay homage to their great leader. They will also attend the public meeting, which will be organized on December 27.
This he stated while addressing the members of Provincial Assembly (MPAs) Sindh, PPP office bearers here on Sunday.
“It will be a time to recall the political struggle and sacrifices of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, the CM said adding that the occasion would be a momentous event in the party’s history.
The chief minister recounted the government’s achievements during the last 4 and a half years saying that the provincial government made Sindh self-sufficient in agriculture, produced hundreds of thousands of jobs, won autonomy and the right to collect the sales tax on services, launched energy projects among other things.
Talking about the upcoming general elections, he said that the government would ensure a free, fair and transparent elections and in that regard it had already strengthened the concerned institutions.
He said that election manifesto of the Pakistan People’s Party will be unveiled at the public meeting at Garhi Khuda Bux.
On the occasion, Sindh Ministers Agha Siraj Durrani, Abdul Haq, Jam Mehtab Dahar, MNA Syeda Nafeesa Shah, MNA Nawab Wassan, Noma Shaikh, MPAs Dr Nasarullah Baloch, Rai Naz Bozdar, Bachal Shah, Haji Anwer Khan Mahar including Mushtqae Surhio, Dr. Arshad Mughar and others also spoke.
