Thousands attended a rally held by Difa-e-Pakistan Council in Lahore on Sunday in order to oppose Pakistan’s expected move to grant Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status to India. “Just like we opposed the reopening of NATO supply routes, today we announce a movement against granting India MFN status,” said Jamat-ud-Dawa chief and the founder of the Difa-e-Pakistan Council, Hafiz Saeed, while addressing thousands of people who had joined the peace rally at the Wagah border. Criticizing the heinous acts being committed by the Indian army in Kashmir, Hafiz Saeed said that Kashmiri people should be given independence, as it is their fundamental
right.
