ANF recovers 3732 kgs charas

Anti-Narcotics Force recovered 3732 Kgs charas after encounter with drug trafficker in Ameen Abad area of Distt Chaghi, Balochistan.
ANF had received an information that some Afgan based drug trafficker has brought large quantity of narcotics into Pakistan & dumped in Ameen Abad area of Distt Chaghi in Balochistan for further trafficking to Iran.
ANF on this information made a plan to burst this gang. In the night of 15/16 December 2012 a raid was carried out on the narcotics den in the desert of Chaghi District.
On seeing ANF squad drug trafficker started firing which continued for hours. The drug traffickers escaped in the cover of darkness and heavy firing. On search of the den 3732 Kgs of chars was recovered from the deserted hut. Case has been registered in Police Station Dalbadin against the drug traffickers and further investigation is in progress.
It is pertinent to point out that in the last few days this is ANF four big seizures. Earlier ANF has seized 1795 kgs Opium, 1020 kgs chars and 27 kgs Heroin in different operations. The value of the recovered drugs an international market in billons. ANF is determined to eradicate the menace of drugs from the country for which each member of the force is working day and night to save the youth of this country from the drug menace.
