After twenty five years, veteran actor Om Puri will be back in the theatre world with the play Teri Amrita. He will be in Delhi on December 18 to participate in the Punjabi Theatre Festival which starts from December 19. Puri will be seen playing the role of Zulfikar Haider in this play. The play, which is the Indian adaptation of A R Gurney’s play Love Letter, will also have actress Divya Dutta (as Amrita Nigam) opposite him. Confirming this, Rawail Singh, one of the organizers of this festival said, “Yes, Om Puri is making a comeback in theatre with this play. I’ve been requesting him to do this play for the last one year. Now that he’s agreed, we’ll see him on stage on 19th.”
