Interior Minister Rehman Malik called on Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on Saturday.
They discussed matters pertaining to bilateral relations and the newly signed visa agreement. They also discussed different options for improving relations between the two countries.
Malik, who is on a three-day visit to India, met Singh at his 7 Race Course Road residence for about 15 minutes.
He was accompanied by Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India Salman Bashir.
Rehman Malik said Pakistan wants to start a new era of relations by forgetting past bitterness.
According to Indian media they discussed several issues concerning both the country, especially related to terror and security.
