Superintendent Camp Jail Ejaz Asghar along with his team on Friday conducted a raid in cells and seized 34 mobile phones.
According to details, the superintendent conducted a surprise raid and recovered 34 cell phones through screening and x-ray machines. Moreover, seven cell phones hidden in body parts of prisoners were also seized.
Officials said that under-trial prisoners were removed from barracks and transferred to special cells as a punishment for keeping cell phones. Moreover, officials said that the prisoners were also barred from meeting with visitors.
