The federal government licensed six foreign airlines to operate from Sialkot International airport. Sialkot International Airport Chairman Muhammad Hanif Khan on Friday said that Oman, Ittihad, Air Arabia, Qatar, Fly Dubai and Emirates would start operating from Sialkot airport. He said that the business community of the district had foreseen the importance of an international airport at Sialkot to cater to the business interest of Sialkot, Gujranwala and Gujrat chambers of commerce. The airport would facilitate the business community to export its high end value added products apart from saving the hassle of travelling to Lahore to board flights and coordinating with the respective flights office bearers.
For people in other countries this is very nice news especially for people in south africa
For Sialkot there should be direct flights from Africa so people can travel easily and much faster
Happy news for Sialkotis. They have, of course, achieved this status by dint of hard work, and they deserve it as they have progressed through consistent efforts, starting from micro enterprizes to companies worth millions / billions specializing in sports goods, leather goods, cutlery, surgical instruments and what not.
